FORMS AND FUNCTION - NEW FORMS FOUR HOUR TRAINING WORKSHOP 


Form and function refer to the direct relationship between the structure of a thing and the way it functions. In real estate, the structure lies in our forms.

The function challenge today is how to incorporate the MLS PIN and settlement changes into our contracts via the  new and revised Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® forms.


These forms include:

  • Contract to Purchase Real Estate – #501
  • Exclusive Buyer Agency Agreement – #701
  • Addendum – Broker Offer of Compensation – #709
  • Disclosure – Existing Exclusive Buyer Agency Agreement
  • Standard Purchase & Sale Agreement – #503
  • Exclusive Right to Sell Listing Agreement – #709
  • Disclosure – Existing Exclusive Right to Sell Listing Agreement


With our new forms, we have tools to function, and even succeed in our profession.

A lot is at stake… simply devising workarounds is only going to make matters worse.


The 2 CE’s for 4 credit hours offered at this Workshop are RE05RC12: Contract Law and RE39R20 Commonly Used Forms.


WE WILL listen, watch, review, roleplay, breakout with case studies, and master the updated forms. We will also learn to ‘function’ in compliance  with  the new guidelines. We may even have fun!


WE WILL NOT be violating any antitrust, conspiracy, steering, or other anti-consumer behaviors. This is an educational program designed specially for you at RASEM to enhance your professionalism.

Kate Lanagan MacGregor
 is a REALTOR®, broker-owner, coach, trainer, and  the owner of Agent Rising Inc, a Real Estate School and Training Center since 2010. 


One of the reasons Kate feels she is so effective in training Real Estate is that she is a passionate practitioner. She has been practicing real estate since 2000. In 2005 she founded BOLD Moves Real Estate, which has evolved into BOLD Real Estate Inc, in a partnership with Patricia McArdle.
